Birth, children, family and sports photography based in Springfield, OR.

I opened my professional photography business in 2005.  My passion began when my first daughter was born but it was not until my second one was born that I realized the importance of memories.  For those of you who are parents, you know just how fast these lil' ones grow up.  It almost seems like in a blink of an eye.

You may ask, "how did you get interested in photography?"  I would have to say that I was not always interested in attention to detail. I was your typical tomboy and you very rarely caught me standing still. Everything changed when I had my own children. I found myself always striving to get that ice cream cone all over their face or those puffy cheeks trying to blow bubbles for the first time, that expression after eating something really sour, those first steps and of course, the perfect picture time.... a peaceful, sleeping baby.  I love being the one that can provide lasting memories for each and every person.  My bubbly personality coupled with a cozy atmosphere, enables me to connect with even the busiest 2 year olds.

Although I now reside in Oregon, I am a very PROUD native TEXAN!!  You may not be able to tell except for an occasional "y'all" that slips out, the cowgirl boots at my front door and a sign that reads, "You can take me out of Texas but you can't take Texas out of me".  Although I miss lots about Texas, especially my family, I do love  the 4 seasons (minus all the rain in the winter months) here in Oregon.  I love to be outside so spring, summer and fall suits me just fine.  I guess it is the Texan in me that does not do well with winter weather.  I also love all the mountains that surround us.  It is truly God's country.

Other than photography, I love playing volleyball and I try to stay in shape by hiking and kickboxing.   My favorite food is seafood but Mexican and BBQ are not far behind.

I have been married to the most amazing man for nearly 30 years.  We have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 very young Bernedoodles.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to drop me a line to say hi.   I look forward to serving your photography needs, whatever they may be, as you chronicle your life's events in the years to come.
